India International Exchange IFSC Limited (India INX)
is a subsidiary of the BSE Limited.
INDIA INX is regulated by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI)
, the securities market regulator in India. The Securities and Exchange Board of India was established on April 12, 1992 in accordance with the provisions of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992. Subject to the provisions, of this Act, it shall be the duty of SEBI to protect the interests of investors in securities and to promote the development of, and to regulate the securities market and commodity market. SEBI is an Ordinary Member of IOSCO and has signed Multilateral Memorandum of Understanding with IOSCO for enhancing the cooperation and sharing information.
The India International exchange received final approval from Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) on December 30, 2016.
